This year, we are celebrating the second Tainan International Music Festival (TIMF). Under the art directorship of Eva Yulin SHEN, we embrace the concept that “the entire city is the performance stage for music.” In addition to indoor programs, we selected a number of unique outdoor venues to stage our performance, including the aqueduct bridge across Zengwen River, Erliao Sunrise Pavilion, and Tsou Ma Lai Farm. World-class musicians will bring moving melodies to the audience in these nature-immersed settings.
French musicologist once described that the essence of music originates from authentic nature and authentic life. In music, you will hear the elegance, inclusivity, and temperament of the city of Tainan. I hope to invite everyone to the 2022 Tainan International Music Festival for a diverse range of musical performances staged at unique venues in Tainan.
